LED PHOTOTHERAPY

An innovative and new generation method, incorporating a state-of-the-art blue LED light source for the treatment of newborn jaundice. Designed to overcome the drawbacks of conventional phototherapy units. Specially arranged LEDs allows to optimal coverage of light over baby.

LED Phototherapy is the next generation LED based technology for treatment of indirect hyperbilirubinemia in newborns. Blue LEDs emit most of their light in the 450-470 nm spectrum. This range corresponds to the peak absorption wavelength (458 nm) at which bilirubin is broken down. It has features that are needed for intensive, efficacious phototherapy. Advanced blue spectrum High Intensity Super LEDS produce minimal heat with low energy consumption in a dramatically reduced size. Super blue LED’s used have long life and low maintenance cost.
